Cairn — Daily Intention · Last updated: June 1, 2026
Cairn is designed with your privacy as a priority. This policy explains how we handle your information. The short version: we don't collect any of it.
All data you create in Cairn — your daily words, reflections, and settings — is stored on your device and in your own private iCloud account. We do not operate servers that store your personal data, and we cannot access your entries.
Cairn does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. We have no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising.
Cairn does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services.
Cairn uses Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) to store your entries and sync them across your personal devices, such as your iPhone and Apple Watch. This data lives in your own private iCloud database, is managed by Apple under their privacy policy, and is not accessible to us. You can disable iCloud sync at any time in your device's iCloud settings.
Cairn offers an optional app lock using Face ID or Touch ID. Biometric data is handled entirely by your device's operating system. Cairn never accesses, stores, or transmits biometric data.
Cairn does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
Since all your data is stored on your own device and iCloud account, you have full control over it at all times. You can delete the app and remove its iCloud data to erase everything, or use the app's built-in tools to manage individual entries.
If we introduce features that change how your data is handled — such as additional cloud services, analytics, or social features — we will update this policy and notify you within the app before any changes take effect. New data-related features will always be opt-in.
